The second stage of the rabies disease can manifest itself through symptoms like restlessness and irritability. Because of such, this stage is more commonly known as the furious stage where cats show signs of viciousness, irritability, and restlessness. The third stage is characterized by paralysis and numbness. The throat and jaws are first affected, thus, bringing foaming at the mouth and locking of the jaws. Other body parts eventually get paralyzed, thus, leading to death.
